Carol "Mitzie" BanachowskiCarol "Mitzie" Banachowski, 90, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025. Born August 27, 1934, to Lester and Elenore (Dollman) Boehm, a 1952 graduate of Notre Dame Academy and a 1956 graduate of the University of Toledo. Carol was a business teacher and a 7th thru 8th grade English and History teacher for seven years.On October 6, 1962, she married Jerome Banachowski and happily stayed home to raise their three children. They were married for 43 years until his passing.A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Carol was a servant in her church. She spent many years as a secretary and treasurer of St. Clement Rosary/Altar Society, St. Clement Parish Advisory Council, and even in her advanced years was often out delivering resources to those in need. Her involvement in the Salesian Club spanned decades.Carol is survived by her son, Tom (Peggy) Banachowski; daughters, Sue (Bill) Weber, and Janet (Greg) Melms; five g
