Bridget Ann Rose Bennett, 66, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025.
Born on August 5, 1958, at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, OH, to Agatha and David Drury, Bridget grew up in Waterville and attended Anthony Wayne High School and Penta Career Center, graduating in 1977. After graduation, she worked for the City of Toledo and later for PBS before settling in Toledo, where she built a beautiful life. On May 24, 1985, she married her soulmate, David Bennett, and together they shared many wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and family.
A devoted wife and mother, Bridget dedicated herself to raising her two children while also serving her faith community. She was deeply involved in the Toledo Catholic Diocese, where she worked with the Diocese Council and found her greatest joy as a religious instructor, preparing children to receive the Eucharist. Watching her students complete their studies and make their First Communion was one of her proudest accomplishments.
