Donald Ray Garber, passed away February 2025 in the comfort of his home.
He was a devoted son of Wilbert "Willie" and Mary Elva (Sheperd) Garber, born March 10, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio. Donald worked as an automotive painter for 37 years. He made many life long friendships over the years at the shop. He enjoyed going to Ideal Hotdog every Thursday for lunch with Butch McLoud, going to Toledo Speedway every chance he had and made many more friends there. Don always appreciated the time spent with his dear friend, Steve Scholz, who would always help take him to his appointments and they shared a love of fast cars and racing. He loved to spend as much time as possible with his friends and family.
Surviving are his children, Dean E. Garber of Edmond, OK and Todd R. (Jennifer) Garber of Frankfort, IN; grandchildren, Dillon Garber and Austin Garber (Dean), and his sibling Lynn (Larry) Mishka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Garber, and sister, Carol Seiter.
